He is described by Mother Jones Magazine as "one of America's premier fiddling talents", is Grammy Nominated as a performer and masters fiddle, banjo, guitar and singing with equal ease and authority. As Nestor of American old-time music, he is a key mentor for the younger generation, including as a Visiting Scholar at Berklee College of Music's American Roots Program. Bruce is also a guest at * Tracker *, the latest CD by the legendary Mark Knopfler. Bruce's collaboration with Anonymous 4, 1865 - Songs of Hope and Home from the American Civil War, has received rave reviews. Nowadays he is on tour with his new trio, Molsky's Mountain Drifters.
