Kjempe-Jo

Kjempe-Jo is the first singel from our upcoming album Folkemusikk 2.0, to be released Sept. 13th. Skrekk & Guro is a new folk rock  band from Norway. The four young musicians are experienced in Norwegian and Swedish traditional music, as well as in jazz, free impro and contemporary music.

We interpret the traditional tunes in our own way, taking care of the hard swinging traditional grooves and adding elements from rock, afro beat, jazz; including some of our own compositions with lyrics inspired by medieval ballads as well as contemporary popular music genres.
